2012: The Fort Lauderdale Strikers’ number one goalkeeper returns for the 2012 NASL season, his third year with the club. Glaeser started the season strong, shutting out FC Edmonton and Minnesota Stars FC in the first two matches of the season.

2011: Glaeser missed the start of the 2011 season after being hospitalized with pneumonia. He returned to the lineup in May, featuring in a 1-1 draw with the NSC Minnesota Stars, and again in the 0-0 draw against the Atlanta Silverbacks.

Matt kept his place in the side, starting the remaining 25 matches for the Strikers, logging a total of 2,355 minutes. He shut out the opposition a total of 12 times, while conceding just 27. His GAA of 1.00 was one of the lowest in the league. Recognized as NASL Defensive Player of the Week for week 12. Rewarded with a new contract on July 5th.

2010: After playing abroad in Finland, Glaeser returned to the States in 2010, signing with Miami FC (now the Fort Lauderdale Strikers) of the USSF Division 2. He spent a brief period on loan with FC Tampa Bay as injury cover. Glaeser made his debut for Miami FC in a 2-1 against the Montreal Impact, and finished the 2010 season as the starting goalkeeper for the Blues.

Professional:  After being overlooked in the 2008 MLS SuperDraft, Glaeser signed for the Western Mass Pioneers of the USL Second Division, where he made a total of 20 appearances. Following a successful trial in Finland, Matt signed for third-tier side Pallo- Iirot in 2009.

College: Glaeser started his college career at James Madision University in 2003, before transferring to University of Hartford in 2006. He would become the captain and MVP, and was recognized as the 2008 American East Conference Goalkeeper of the Year, as well as the 2008 NSCAA Northeast Region Goalkeeper of the Year.
