Mitchell's first professional club came along while he was in Trinidad Tobago with Calidonia AIE - which he played for in 2007 at the age of 19. In 2009 he moved to Joe Public where he played until the Whitecaps brought him to Vancouver in 2011. Mitchell comes with international experience, having 19 senior caps to his name. His first call-up to the Trinidad Tobago national team came in 2010, and he has since played in the Caribbean, Gold and World Cup qualifiers.
