Shane Hill, who hails from London and is the son of head coach Ricky Hill, previously saw time with the Rushden Diamonds and Sheffield United. He joined FC Tampa Bay as a trialist during the 2011 preseason.
Hill also was a part of the initial group that trained with FC Tampa Bay trialists at the Liverpool Academy Grounds in December of 2009.
