Growing up in Woodbury, Minn., Brian Kallman attended Minnesota Thunder games. Fittingly, the Thunder were his first professional club after his college career, which saw him play at Jacksonville University and Creighton University. Kallman joined the Thunder in 2006 and signed with the Stars in March 2010. He played 15 games for the Stars in their inaugural season as both a center and an outside back.
