After three years in Germany playing for MSV Duisburg and Fortuna Düsseldorf, Tiago made the move to Australia, where he played with the Newcastle Jets from 2011-13, before playing for Sydney FC last season.
"I am really looking forward to going to Minnesota and meeting my new teammates and the staff,” said Tiago. “I am very excited about training and getting the season started. I see good things in the future. I would like to say thank you to the club and the coach to give me this opportunity. I will give my 100% as I have always done to help the club achieve their goals. My family and I are all very excited about coming. I am delighted for this opportunity and to go on this wonderful journey with Minnesota."
