The NASL Team of the Week is selected based on performances each weekend and features the best XI players in their respective positions.

Of course the selections are open to debate and fans are encouraged to have their say through social media at  and on Twitter @NASLOfficial


Here is this week’s Best XI:


Mitch Hildebrandt, Minnesota United FC – Made five saves to earn the shutout victory over Fort Lauderdale



Justin Davis, Minnesota United FC – Was key factor on the backline and assisted on Minnesota’s second goal

Greg Janicki, San Antonio Scorpions – Helped control defense and limited several offense attacks

Mason Trafford, Ottawa Fury FC – Had an impressive defensive performance to preserve the shutout



Evans Frimpong, Tampa Bay Rowdies – Ghana native came off the bench and had the game winning assist, while creating danger on the left flank.

Miguel Ibarra, Minnesota United FC – Provided an attacking spark and scored Minnesota’s third goal

Kléberson, Indy Eleven – Brazilian was solid in midfield and created chances

Cristian Raudales, FC Edmonton – In his inaugural NASL match, helped set the offensive pace from midfield



Rafael Castillo, San Antonio Scorpions – Colombian had two goals in first NASL game

Georgi Hristov, Tampa Bay Rowdies – Bulgarian had a pair of tallies, including the game-winner, against Atlanta

Ben Spencer, Indy Eleven – Scored the tying goal to spark a comeback and then Indy’s first league victory
