Coaches quotes:

“We're aware of the threats Fort Lauderdale pose after our recent meeting during spring season, but our aim is to kick off the fall season home opener with the same type of performance and intensity we displayed on the road vs the Cosmos.” – Scorpions coach Alen Marcina

“We had a tough opening match against Minnesota, now we just have to put that game behind us. We’ve got to continue to work together and get some points on the road. San Antonio is always a tough place to play; they’re going to be ready for us.” – Strikers coach Günter Kronsteiner
